The Yeerk invasion rages on in episode 5 of the Nick adaptation of Animorphs: Between Friends.
We discuss how Rachel's morph arsenal is top to bottom cats, how little sense it makes for Yeerks to honor any deal they make with their hosts, Cassie continues to not morph, and how none of the Animorphs is good at keeping a low profile.
This week Sky and Jake watch Animorphs episode 4 "On The Run"
Not a lot happens.
We discuss the natural habitats of teens and andelites, how the Sharing's pitch is pretty lackluster, and struggle to remember what '95 internet was like. We also briefly gloss over how Tobias isn't in this episode, just like the show does.
This week Sky and Jake follow the Animorphs into the yeerk pool in episode 3 of Nickelodeon's Animorphs, "the Underground"
We discuss Marco's awesome orange jacket, Cassie has a flawless way to calm jungle cats down, how anyone itching their ear definitely has an alien in their brain, Jake (not the character) decides he should start twisting all the hooks and whatnot in his janitor's closet, and Chapman really hates lizards for some unaddressed reason.
Invasion week two. We watched My Name is Jake Part 2 of Nickelodeon's Animorph adaptation.
We discuss how apparently its super easy to morph clothes after all, no one has a cool morph yet, and Tobias is a creepy flake.
Jake and Sky are back!
The Yeerk invasion starts as they watch episode one "My Name is Jake" of the Nickelodeon adaptation of Animorphs!
The guys discuss how Animorphs was part of their friendship before they were friends, having a main character share a name with a host gets confusing, Jake compares Sky to C3-P0, and Tobias sucks at catching.
This is it guys! We watched episode 8 of Marve's Inhumans, "...And Finally: Balackbolt"
Everything has come to a confusing head as we end the best (and only) Inhumans tv show ever made.
We discuss how a teleporting dog plugs your plot holes, how remarkably competent Triton is, and how shockingly useful Eldrac, the guy who is just a wall, was.
Thanks for sticking with us as we finished another less than great series!
We'll be back in 2 weeks with Animorphs!
This week we watch Havoc in the Hidden Land, episode 7 of Marvel's Inhumans.
We discuss how much we miss Louise, attempt to figure out how Teragenisis works, and how we've fully turned on Max. He is the WORST
This week we watched episode six of the Inhumans "The Gentleman's Name is Gorgon"
We discuss the likelihood of finding someone randomly on an island, Maximus's mental state is declining very rapidly, hulu has a remarkable amount of commercials, and we wish Lockjaw was in this more.
Sky and Jake watch episode 5 of Marvel's Inhumans: Something Inhuman This Way Comes.
We discuss where Karnak got his medical degree, weather or not Qui-Gon Jinn swindled Watto, and how Medusa is so good at understanding Sign Language she doesn't even need to look at it.
